Research

Currently, the majority of academic research fails to reach industries and become commercialized. To address this disconnect, the institute facilitates two-way relationships between university researchers and industry pioneers to drive the research and application of innovative technologies.

To build these relationships, N+1 hosts half-day seminars for interested industry partners and professors to propose potential collaborative projects. Creating these spaces for knowledge sharing and engagement can serve as the foundation to accelerate innovation by aligning research and application.

To further bridge industry and research, faculty can also teach courses focused on innovation and technology advancements and play an active role in capstone projects. Faculty can also develop courses that integrate donated resources and expose students to the latest emerging technologies.
